MommyShape Prenatal Dance, Sculpt & Yoga
Dance, sculpt, and yoga your way to a healthier pregnancy, an easier delivery, and a quicker recovery! 

The MommyShape Prenatal Method utilizes a combination of core exercises deeply rooted in modern dance to focus on building strength and control in the deepest abdominal muscles to prepare your abdominal wall for a quicker recover after pregnancy. 

In this fun and unique class, we will utilize dance, sculpting, yoga, massage, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to build strength and control in the deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, tone back, arms and legs, ease the normal aches and pains of pregnancy, learn how to breath, relax and build stamina for the marathon of labor, and most importantly, get your body moving in a fun-filled way! The instructor will work closely with you to modify the exercises for your body and stage in pregnancy.  

All levels welcome! 


MommyShape Postnatal Ab Repair
Dance, sculpt, and yoga your way to a quicker and easier recovery!  

The MommyShape Postnatal Method utilizes a combination of core exercises deeply rooted in modern dance, yoga and pilates to strengthen and repair your abs from the inside out, not only building strength in the external abdominal muscles, but really re-shaping the muscles from within - the key to a flat stomach. 

In this fun and unique class, we will utilize dance, yoga, sculpting, massage, breathwork and relaxation techniques to repair abdominal muscles, tone and strengthen back, arms and legs, ease the aches of your "new mommy" body, relax and balance your mind, and most importantly, get your body moving in a fun-filled way!  The instructor will assess if you have diastasis recti and teach you how to modify your workout to decrease this abdominal separation.  

Although this class is geared for the postnatal woman, anyone is welcome to join, whether you've had a baby or not, or it's been years since!

** Please bring your postnatal abdominal splint if you have one (especially if you have diastasis recti).

Every mommy is different.  MommyShape offers one-on-one private personal training in California.  We will customize a weekly pre/postnatal program for you and your child (if you wish) which includes the MommyShape exercises and nutrition counseling that fit your specific needs.  If you've been ordered on bed-rest during your pregnancy, it is especially important to do special bed-rest exercises under professional supervision to make sure that you are exercising safely without jeopardizing you or your baby.  MommyShape will take you through all the steps necessary in achieving your personal fitness goals during your pregnancy and give you the tools to prepare for your labor, delivery, and recovery.
